Pannal 4th XI have been in existence since 2003 when it became apparent that due to the excellent quality of players coming through the youth system there was room for another senior team which would give younger players the chance to learn to play under 'senior' conditions.
The team has proved to be a great success thanks to the efforts of many people , and last season finished 5th in Division 7 , their highest ever placing . The Captain is James Bickers who has been Captain since the inauguration of the side , more to do with no-one else being prepared to do it rather than any reasons of a cricketing nature!
Stand-out performances to date have included a 13 year old Chris Hooper scoring 111 not out in 2006 , and 12 year old Luke Shermer claiming 5 - 28 from 11 overs also in 2006.
