Burnt Yates 2nds v Pannal 4ths12th May 2007
Pannal went down to a vastly more experienced Burnt Yates team but not without a fight . Burnt Yates started their innings scoring freely , and were 99-1 at the halfway stage and looking poised for a really big score , but excellent bowling from Father/Son duo Warren Shermer (1-51) and Luke Shermer (1-34) pegged them back despite several catches going to ground ! A total of 217 looked reasonable but not out of sight , however Pannal got off to the worst possible start and were 7-2 after just 4 overs . Warren Shermer (86) then dug in and with the aid of Matt McWilliams (28) and James Rawlings (32) took the score along to 152 - 4 at which point anything looked possible , but after James departure the innings fell away , Warren was unfortunately run out just 16 short of his century and Pannal were left clinging on for a point at 185-9.
Burnt Yates 2nds 227-3, Pannal 4ths 185-9 from 45 overs.

Bilton 4ths v Pannal 4ths
5th May 2007
Pannal 4 romped home to an 8 wicket victory to make it two wins out of three against an under-strength Bilton side who badly missed their opening bowler. At first though it looked like Bilton might put up stiff resistance as they progressed steadily to 75 - 1 , but Warren Shermer (1-13) broke through the key partnership , birthday boy Nick Hare (1-13) clean-bowled the other major Bilton threat , and after that the innings collapsed to 125 all out with Luke Shermer (3-20) , Jon Hare (3-16) , James Rawlings (1-13) and Jordan Taylor (1-28) all getting in on the act. In reply Pannal started poorly as Jonathan Hare (1) went after the bowling a tad too early (!) , but normal service was resumed as Brian Hunt (32) and Warren Shermer (50 not out) put on 115 for the second wicket , and the target was reached with 25 overs in hand .
Bilton 4ths 125allout, Pannal 4ths 126-2 from 20.4 overs.
